Lake Chuzenji
Nikko Trip: Part 4 (The Legendary Lake Chuzenji and the “Pseudo Mount Fuji”)
Thursday, May 1st, 2008Lake Chuzenji is a beautiful lake created 20,000 years by the lava flow from the extinct volcano Mount Nantai. It’s water is drained through the nearby Kegon Falls. With Mount Hangetsu as the backdrop, Lake Chuzenji forms a stunning scenery and is an attraction not to be missed.
After viewing the gorgeous Kegon Falls, it started to drizzle. We hasten our steps toward the nearby town to look for a hiding place.
